Day 2
So I am restarting my journey to losing weight. yep you read that right. restarting *sigh* I always start out good and then crap out somewhere down the line. Any who... I usually start off taking my current weight & my goal weight writing it down somewhere. The first week I slowly cut out all soda & other drinks and Just drink water. The 2nd week I slowly cut down my portions adding extra fruit & veggies. The ones that are mostly made of water (celery, cucumbers, watermelon, etc.). Then by the third week I start with some light exercises- mostly walking..4th week has a variety of different ab,leg,arm,etc work out routines. Sounds great right. wrong by week 6 I am bored and only shed 15 pounds then I go right back to the same crap I was eating & drinking just not as much. And stop exercising. I gain back 10 of what I lost and maintain that weight til I start picking it up the routine again.
So I am thinking I need an over haul of my routine. Yesterday I drank mostly lemon water, didn't eat as much & added the fruits and veggies right away. Today I am drinking more lemon water, eating smaller portions. So far so good. But then again it is only 10 am. I plan on doing at least 30 mins of a new fitness routine I found on Pinterest. (gotta love Pinterest!). And if I can find time and the weather permits, I want to fit in a 45 min walk. Doing the exercising every other day ( to give my muscles a break) . Mixing up the routine should keep me on the right track for a couple weeks at least. I am optimistic about sticking to it this time. So many things I want to look good for this summer. I have a couple weddings to go to and not looking like a fat cow would be a nice change. Hoping I can shed all the weight & meet my Goal weight by my sisters summer wedding in 2013. Wish my lots of luck. Gonna need it BIG TIME!
